The Colosseum Map
The Colosseum stands in the heart of ancient Rome, in the district known as the Centro Storico.
Its official address, Piazza del Colosseo 1, places it just east of the Roman Forum and a short stroll from the Palatine Hill and Arch of Constantine.
The Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill constitute the Big Three landmarks of Ancient Rome and are covered on one admission ticket. You can easily walk from one site to another.
The area is exceptionally well connected β the Colosseo Metro Station (Line B) sits directly opposite the amphitheater, while Via dei Fori Imperiali links it to Piazza Venezia and the Capitoline Hill.
